'It's just magic': OMD bowled over by a 'special' Glasgow night
***** The last time I saw the pioneers of synth-pop it was a night that technology had actually let them down. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark were beset with technical problems which resulted in sound cut-out glitches and a hold-up of nearly half an hour during their opening songs at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall some nine years ago. No such problems tonight at the captivating amphitheatre that is the Kelvingrove Bandstand.
