(It’s anonymous!) Dear Pay Dirt, My dad died two years ago after a brief terminal illness. I moved in with him and my mom when he was sick, and we both took care of him for five months until he died. I have continued to live with my mom for the past two years. It’s definitely still her house, but we’ve adapted as roommates, and I think it’s going pretty well. We enjoy spending time together, and it’s been really nice. I’ve been contributing to groceries, but my mom has all the utilities, etc. on autopay and has never asked me to contribute to those or to pay her any rent. I’ve been able to save a lot o
