Interruption in water supply on August 5

Regular water supply by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) will be disrupted in parts of the city on Wednesday (August 5).Officials said the partial disruption will be on account of installation and maintenance work of 33 KV Outdoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker at Kalabgur substation, part of the Manjeera Project that supplies drinking water to the city. The work will be carried out on Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.The affected areas division-wise include: RC Puram, Ashoknagar, Jyotinagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Hafizpet, Madinaguda, and Miyapur; Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Bhagyanagar Colony; bulk drinking water connections at BHEL Factory, BHEL Township, HCU, Industrial Area; offtake points and bulk drinking water connections in division four.
