Inequality: The Hidden Wealth of Portugal

The 2022 World Inequality Report resulted from four years intensive research of data collated by more than one hundred economists.  Its principle conclusion was that, in the 21st century, inequality in relation to both income and wealth had increased to alarming and extreme levels.   Famously, this was summarised  as: “10% of global populace own 76% of wealth while 50% stay uncontented with only 2%” and “the top 1% owns 38%”.
