India Post offers international Rakhi delivery service

India Post is offering International Speed Post (EMS) and International Parcel services to enable customers to send Rakhis and gifts to relatives residing abroad, ahead of Raksha Bandhan on August 28.N.V.S.N. Raju, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Visakhapatnam Division, said the facility was available at all post offices across Visakhapatnam. He advised the public to book consignments early to ensure the timely delivery of Rakhis to overseas destinations.Mr. Raju also urged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), small businesses, artisans, and self-help groups to make use of India Post’s Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra (DNK) service to export their products to international destinations at affordable rates.For further details, customers may contact their nearest post office.
