India cooks up LPG safety net: Govt fixes refinery-wise output targets

India is establishing production benchmarks for its refineries and upstream firms, aimed at fortifying the domestic LPG supply system. Reliance Industries leads with the highest targets assigned to its refinery. It is imperative that companies ensure sufficient infrastructure for LPG storage and transportation. These production benchmarks will undergo reviews and updates biannually.
