In Turkey, public funeral ceremonies honor fallen PKK fighters

Since August 21, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) – currently engaged in negotiations with the Turkish state – has published a list of around 100 fighters killed in recent years. Public funeral ceremonies have been held throughout major cities, especially in the southeast.
