Imagine walking away from a sport that’s been a big part of your identity for nearly your whole life. And not because it’s time to move on, but because years’ worth of injuries have taken their toll. That’s what Sam Brown had running through his head this past offseason after he was limited to 16 carries for 38 yards at Rutgers. He didn’t want to get hurt again.But his football story wasn’t over.
