IMD predicts Thunderstorms, gusty winds in Coastal A.P. till August 18

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam from August 14-17, while strong surface winds reaching 40 to 50 kmph are likely at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema through August 18.The district-level warning shows thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and winds reaching 40 to 50 kmph in several districts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the first four days.
