IIT Madras incubated centre launches AI models in Indian languages
Bodhan AI, a Centre of Excellence in AI for Education incubated within IIT Madras and supported by the Union Ministry of Education, along with AI4Bharat, a research lab in IIT Madras, have launched four foundational AI models for Indian languages.The models will be made available to the technology and education ecosystem through open-weight releases and hosted APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
