Dear Good Job, I’m a manager at a large wedding planning company and have a staff of full-time employees and contractors. When people book weddings with us, we randomly assign our vendors to their team depending on their package and our availability. Everyone on our team works super hard and gets rave reviews from our clients. But we recently had a request from a couple that has given me pause. We just had our first couple request a straight officiant. The whole team was put-off by this as most of us are LGBTQ+,
