Hyderabad to get India’s first Olympic-standard BMX Supercross track

Hyderabad is set to get India’s first UCI Olympic-standard BMX Supercross track, with the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) approving a proposal for the facility near the Medchal checkpost. The proposed track will feature 5-metre and 8-metre dual-hill ramps, catering to different levels of competition. A BMX Supercross track is a professional-grade cycling circuit. The facility will be developed on more than three acres of stadium land in Medchal Circle under the Quthbullapur zone, with the execution cost estimated at approximately ₹6 crore.The track will have a length of 370 to 400 metres and will be accompanied by an all-weather warm-up pump track.
