Hurricane Genevieve gathers strength offshore, casting stormclouds over most of Mexico

Though there's no land threat from Genevieve, rain is forecast for most Mexican states this Monday afternoon, with especially heavy downpours in parts of Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Sonora and Tabasco.
