At least 17 people have been killed in the flood along the Bhote Koshi river near the border with Tibet. Some 291 foreign nationals are missing, including 12 Brits, along with 93 people from Nepal. The flood hit early on Wednesday in Rasuwa, which is north of Kathmandu. Rescue helicopters have been unable to land, with images showing crumbled homes and a metal bridge being washed away.
