Huge dragon caught on camera flying over Glasgow this morning

A giant flying dragon model of Syrax from Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon has been spotted soaring over Glasgow, marking the launch of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and promoting season three of the HBO series. The eight‑metre‑wide, 13kg dragon took around 3,000 hours for a 14‑person team to build, with 23 moving parts and intricate engineering to achieve realistic flight.
