How Charlie Woods fell just short of advancing at U.S. Junior Amateur Championship

As Charlie Woods continues to pave his own path in golf, the 17-year-old experienced heartbreak Wednesday morning.Woods was one of 14 players participating in a playoff to determine who advanced to match play in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, with just two players from that group able to move on. Woods, however, was eliminated on the first playoff hole, ending his tournament after two rounds.This was Woods' third time competing in the U.S. Junior Amateur, and it was his best showing despite not making it to the match play portion of the event.
