Households told to only mow lawn twice between now and winter

Create a mini jungle for beetles and other small creatures to wander and where Sparrows and Goldfinches can come to feed on the seeds." Residents are also being advised to steer clear of strimmers, as these devices can cause serious harm to hedgehogs and other garden wildlife.‌The RSPB recommends that households identify which sections of their garden can be left to flourish naturally.
