House honors Alex Eala for historic WTA title

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Tuesday adopted House Resolution No. 1286 commending and congratulating Alexandra “Alex” Maniego Eala for making history as the first Filipino to win a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour-level singles title. The resolution — introduced by House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III, Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander A.
