July 10, 2026 11:01 AM ET Federal agents recovered eight missing children while conducting a human trafficking operation June 22 in Kansas City, Missouri during the 2026 World Cup. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Kansas City led the operation, which identified predators looking to exploit minors, according to a press release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
