Home hospitalisation unit in Cascais prevented more than 3.000 days of conventional inpatient care

The Hospital de Cascais’ home hospitalisation unit (UHD) has prevented 3,880 days of conventional inpatient care at the facility this year, freeing up beds to accommodate patients with more acute needs.
