The new HMRC Benefit-in-Kind statistics, on BiK paid to the Labour Party government, show 920,000 employees are paying company car tax in 2024/25.‌That's a 9.5% increase on the 840,000 reported the previous year. The total number of reported recipients of company car benefit was 920,000; this is up 80,000 from the previous year.‌This figure had declined from 960,000 in 2015 to 2016 up until 720,000 in 2020 to 2021.
