High school athletic trainer accused of having inappropriate relationship with student

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois arrested high school athletic trainer Christina G. Payton and charged her with having an inappropriate relationship with a student, which resulted in multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. The 27-year-old turned herself in on August 5 and is scheduled to appear in court on August. 27.
