Heroin worth ₹9 lakh seized, West Bengal native held in Hyderabad

The image is used for representative purposes only. | Photo Credit: GETTY IMAGES The Special Task Force (STF) apprehended a person from West Bengal while he was allegedly selling heroin from a rented room in the Puppalguda-Narsingi area of Gandipet, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, and seized 91 grams of the narcotic.The accused, Anu S.K., had come to Hyderabad seeking employment as a construction supervisor. While working on construction projects in the HITEC City area, he came in contact with software engineers and began supplying them with heroin, police said.According to the STF, Anu had been procuring heroin at a low price in West Bengal and bringing it to Hyderabad
