Henrik Pedersen pleased as Sheffield Wednesday beat Bolton

Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen praised his team’s performance after they beat Championship side Bolton 1-0 in the Carabao Cup first round.Substitute Jamal Lowe scored in the 70th minute. Bolton had Xavier Simons sent off in the 56th minute when he received a red card after clashing with Harry Gray.Pedersen said: “I’m really pleased. I saw a lot of steps in the right direction for our aggressive pressing, for our quick transition, more players higher up when we won the ball, more forward mindset.“I saw a team when we generally were on the ball that we have less backwards passes, less sideways passes.“We keep on going, and they keep on working as a group.
