'He was my rock': Heartbroken mum pays tribute to son killed after being hit by bus in tragedy

NewsGreater Manchester NewsWiganLuke Hill's mum said her son's death 'doesn't feel real'13:11, 13 Aug 2026The devastated mum of a 28-year-old man who died in a crash between a motorbike and a bus in Wigan has paid a heartfelt tribute to him.Luke Hill tragically died in hospital following the crash on Wigan Road, in Ashton-in-Makerfield, last Thursday night (August 6). Emergency services were called out to the scene, at the junction of Alexandra Road, just before 11.55pm.Luke was rushed to hospital from the scene, but sadly died from his injuries.
