HC CJ appeal to legal fraternity
Chief Justice of Telangana High Court Aparesh Kumar on Saturday exhorted the legal fraternity to remember the suggestion of Mahatma Gandhi to think about the last person in the queue before taking a decision.Addressing the gathering of judges, advocates, staff and others after hoisting the national flag on the HC premises on Independence Day, the CJ said that nearly 14.13 crore pages of the High Court records and 8.89 crore pages of district judicial records had been scanned and digitised so far. The precious year, 90,357 cases were instituted while 80,020 cases were disposed of in the HC, he said.This had translated into 88.5% of disposal rate.
