Hawaii faces heavy rain, strong winds as Lala weakens to tropical storm

Hurricane Lala is gradually weakening after the eye of the storm passed the southern tip of Hawaii's Big Island without making landfall, but heavy rainfall could produce flooding and mudslides as more than 130,000 homes are without power.
