Harvey Elliott: Liverpool confirm first Deadline Day deal as forgotten star leaves on loan again

The 23-year-old signed for the Reds in 2019, but has not made a first-team appearance since the early days of the 2025/26 campaign, before joining Aston Villa on loan.Elliott’s season in Birmingham did not go at all to plan.
