Habagat weakens, but heavy rains continue to persist – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—The southwest monsoon or habagat may be less enhanced than in previous days, but it continues to bring heavy rain to parts of Luzon, with sudden downpours still possible in Metro Manila and several provinces, the state weather bureau said Monday.
