Guardians made 'sneaky good' trade with Reds for Gold Glove first baseman

The Cleveland Guardians needed some power in their lineup. The AL Central club is 28th in the Majors with 109 home runs. Only the Toronto Blue Jays and Milwaukee Brewers have hit fewer. Kyle Manzardo, recently optioned to Triple-A, led the Guardians with 13 homers before his demotion. They used the trade deadline to address that need. In 83 games with the Cincinnati Reds, first baseman Nathaniel Lowe hit 12 homers. That's not an eye-popping number, but Cleveland could use someone like him now more than ever. Lowe was acquired from the Reds at the trade deadline. Bleacher Report's Tim Kelly believes it will be a "sneaky good" pickup.
