Greater Grand Crossing woman’s death caused by heat stroke, medical examiner’s office rules

A 94-year-old woman who died in July is the 11th person in Cook County whose death has been tied to extreme heat, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Claramont Little, of Chicago’s Greater Grand Crossing community, died in the early morning hours of July 2nd in the same block where she lived, according to the medical examiner’s office.
