The CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum Authority, Ahmed Ghoneim, confirmed that the museum will close to visitors on September 2nd. Speaking exclusively to Al-Masry Al-Youm on Tuesday, Ghoneim explained that the reasons for the closure will be announced later.
