GPS Participações Profit More Than Triples, but a Tax Windfall Did the Heavy Lifting
GPS Participações, Brazil's largest outsourced business-services group, reported second-quarter 2026 net income of R$376.7 million (about US$70 million), more than triple a year earlier. But a one-off Sistema S tax reversal drove most of the gain; stripping it out, recurring profit rose a quieter 16% as revenue climbed 7% and margins stayed under pressure.
