Govt. reduces fresh A-Khata charge from 5% to 2% till August 23

The Karnataka government on Sunday reduced the approval fee for obtaining a fresh A-Khata as part of the single plot approval from 5% to 2% of the property’s guidance value. The concession will remain in force until August 23, 2026.The decision brings the fee for fresh A-Khata applications on par with the reduced charge already applicable for conversion of properties from B-Khata to A-Khata. The latter concession had been introduced for a temporary period of 100 days, from May 15 to August 23.The Government Order follows a proposal submitted by the Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (
