The Karnataka government on Sunday reduced the approval fee for obtaining a fresh A-Khata as part of the single plot approval from 5% to 2% of the property’s guidance value. The concession will remain in force until August 23, 2026.The decision brings the fee for fresh A-Khata applications on par with the reduced charge already applicable for conversion of properties from B-Khata to A-Khata.
