Govt promotes two to secretary, retires housing secretary

The government has promoted two additional secretaries to the rank of secretary through a fresh reshuffle in the senior bureaucracy.The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications yesterday and today.Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman has been promoted to secretary and appointed to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).Barind Multipurpose Development Authority Executive Director Abu Sayeed Md Kamruzzaman has also been promoted and appointed chief executive officer (secretary) of the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority.Housing and Public Works Secretary Nazrul Islam has been sent into retirement after reaching the age of 59.Meanwhile, Disaster Management and Relief Secretary Md Saidur Rahman Khan has been appointed se
