The government is planning to establish a 2,000-acre pharmaceutical innovation park in the Osudoku area as part of efforts to reduce the country’s dependence on imported medicines and strengthen local pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The Legon Pharmaceutical Innovation Park, a flagship project under the 24-Hour Economy Authority, is expected to create an integrated ecosystem covering pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical-device production, herbal medicine, and research and development.
