Government may approach Supreme Court to reclaim land at Ammuguda

The State government may approach the Supreme Court against the ruling by the High Court favouring a builder over the ownership of the beleaguered land in Ammuguda hillocks, which has landed the Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency in trouble with the court.Officials under the condition of anonymity informed that the government has decided to file a Special Leave Petition before the apex court challenging the High Court order for the title over the land.While the judgement was delivered much earlier, HYDRAA forces recently entered the land and stopped the builder from progressing ahead with work, against which the latter approached the High Court with a contempt petition against HYDRAA.Hearing the petition, the High Court made stern remarks against HYDRAA chief A.V.
