Glory of Ganga dynasty to bloom at Lalbagh’s I-Day flower show from August 6

MURALI KUMAR The glory of the Ganga dynasty, showcased through floral displays, will be the main attraction at the Independence Day flower show at Lalbagh, which will be inaugurated on August 6 at 11 a.m. Horticulture Department officials said ₹2.75 crore has been spent on the show, which is expected to attract lakhs of visitors over 12 days.Addressing the media on Tuesday, R. Girish, Secretary, Horticulture Department, said, “The exhibition will be held for 12 days, from August 6 to 17. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will inaugurate the exhibition at 11 a.m. on August 6.
