Gloria Steinem, pioneering feminist activist, dies at 92

NEW YORK – Gloria Steinem, the pioneering feminist who helped galvanise the modern women’s movement and advance equality for millions of women at home, at work and throughout society, died on Sept 3 in New York. She was 92.A post on social media that announced her death did not give a cause.
