GITAM Law School to host national moot court competition

GITAM School of Law will host the seventh Dr. M.V.V.S. Murthi All India Level Moot Court Competition from October 7-10 at the GITAM Deemed to be University campus in Visakhapatnam.The competition will focus on India’s new criminal legal framework, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.The moot proposition will require participants to examine issues including homicide, criminal conspiracy, electronic evidence, forensic science, constitutional safeguards during arrest and appellate criminal jurisprudence.Law students from institutions across the country are expected to participate.
