The Dallas Cowboys lucked themselves into Caleb Downs during the 2026 NFL Draft, a fortunate reality that many weren't expecting. It seemed like a foregone conclusion that the New York Giants would select Downs, but they didn't, and to make matters worse, he ended up with arguably the biggest rival of New York.
