Around 2am on Saturday, June 20 a woman was reportedly assaulted by a gang of women with a baseball bat on a grassy area near Ashcroft Street in Parr.‌She fled to Ashcroft Service Station for help, where she was attacked again. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was taken to hospital with facial injuries, swelling and injury to her legs.‌Police have carried out extensive CCTV and witness enquiries.
