Wirral Council has received an application to register Hoylake Beach as a Town or Village Green, which would provide the land a number of protections.A public hearing is set to take place later this week when an independent inspector will have the opportunity to hear evidence in support of the application. The hearing will be held on Friday, August 7 at Melrose Hall, Hoylake CH47 3BU from 11.30am to 1.30pm.The granting of Town or Village Green (TVG) status would mean the land would be protected from development.
