Police were called to the area in the early hours of Friday, July 24 following a report that a black Cupra had come of the road causing damage to a lamppost on the road.‌As police deal with the huge incident, there are road closures on Shellingford Road, Prescot Road, Liverpool Road, Somerset Road, Back Dovecot Place, Dovecot Place, Taurus Road, Turriff Road, Dinas Lane, Lordens Road and Fincham Road.‌Members of the public are advised to avoid the area while the police investigation is ongoing.
