They have been praised for being 'magnificent' pubs18:41, 16 Jul 2026Almost twenty pubs in Greater Manchester have been included in a prestigious list celebrating the very best in the country.‌This week, The Telegraph unveiled its guide to the 650 Best Pubs in the UK, which has been chosen by an esteemed panel of pub experts on a number of criteria including on their welcoming and lively atmosphere, the quality of their drinks, and how they adopt a strong sense of community.‌The top 650, which is not ranked in any particular order, includes 75 pubs in Scotland, 50 in Wales, 25 in Northern Ireland.
