The Director General of Prosecution (DGP) has ordered a fresh departmental inquiry into the death of S. Aneeshya, who had served as Assistant Public Prosecutor at the Paravur Munsiff Magistrate Court in Kollam, Kerala.DGP T. Asaf Ali has formally tasked the Director of Prosecution with conducting a thorough probe to identify any official lapses or departmental failures that may have contributed to her death. The order instructs the investigating authority to submit a comprehensive report as expeditiously as possible.The direction is based on a petition submitted by Aneeshya’s parents, Prasanna P.M. and Satyadevan.
