Four out of ten Brazilian women bet or have bet online

Four out of ten Brazilian women (42%) have gambled or continue doing so on online betting platforms, with 20 percent still betting and another 22 percent no longer active. Of the 58 percent of women who have never gambled, 12 percent report being affected by relatives or friends who gamble. Taken together, more than half of women in Brazil (54%) feel the direct impact of the activity, whether they are gamblers themselves or not.
