Four-day Handloom Fair to begin in Mysuru from August 6

The fair will bring together handloom cooperative societies and skilled weavers from various districts of Karnataka | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement As part of the 12th National Handloom Day celebrations, JSS Mysuru Urban Haat is organising its first-ever four-day District-Level Handloom Fair from August 6 to 9 at its premises in the City.Organised with the sponsorship of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the Handloom Fair will be inaugurated by Krishnaraja Assembly constituency MLA T.S. Srivatsa at JSS Mysuru Urban Haat at Hebbal Industrial Area in Mysuru at 4 p.m. on Thursday.The event will be attended by B.N. Veena, KAS, Additional Commissioner, Mysuru City Corporation, and Somashekar B.S., Deputy Director, Department o
