One of Waterloo's most historic buildings has gone up for sale on the cusp of its 200th birthday. Ennis Cottage on Waterloo Road was once the vicarage of the historic Christ Church on Waterloo Road, whose grand tower of pink sandstone became a landmark for sailors in days gone by. The property can be found within the Christ Church conservation area as set out by Sefton Council. The area is named after the old Christ Church (built in 1899 to replace an older building) and was previously used as agricultural land up until the 19th century.
