Former Rangers star Ron Duguay rushed to hospital after scary home collapse
Former Rangers star Ron Duguay was hospitalized after being found unconscious at his home last Friday, according to his daughter, Shay Thomas. Doctors said Duguay had been “extremely dehydrated,” and also “discovered varices, portal hypertensive gastropathy, internal bleeding, and an ulcer,” per his daughter’s Instagram post. The 69-year-old diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer earlier this year. “Our dad @ronduguay10 continues to show us just how strong he is,” Thomas wrote Monday on Instagram. “On Friday, he fainted at home, was unconscious, injured a few parts of his face, and knocked out a few teeth in the fall…this time, it wasn’t from hockey.
